Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
What about storage?
Great question! Each bunk has a large secure storage box at the head of the bed, which can easily fit a small backpack, briefcase, camera and laptop. If you need additional storage, the community room has large lockable cabinets that can fit just about any large-sized luggage (they’re really big). These are free to use for bunk room guests, on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage you to bring your own lock to secure your cubby and/or storage cabinet: otherwise we have some available at the front desk for a small fee. Got a snowboard, skis or other large equipment that needs a safe place to stay for the night? Talk to the front desk, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What’s the bathroom situation?
Much better than most! There are 6 individual bathrooms shared between the two bunk rooms, accessible through the community area. Each has a mirror, sink, toilet, shower, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Each bathroom can be unlocked with your keycard, and once locked from the inside: shows a red indicator to anybody else who might try to scan in.
What are quiet hours?
Once inside the bunk rooms, the lights automatically dim at 10pm, which means quiet hours have begun. Out of respect for your fellow guests, please move to the lobby if you’d like to continue socializing, listening to music or talking on the phone during this time, and take care in being quiet when returning to your bunk. Lights turn on again at 8am every morning.
Can I use the spa?
Definitely! Complimentary spa passes are included for all guests.
Do you have extra blankets?
Absolutely. If you prefer to have a couple more layers at night, just ask the front desk and we’re happy to provide additional blankets.
Food Storage?
Bunk Room guests have access to two shared mini-fridges, a sink and a food prep area in the community room. Please label your food/drink with your name and the current date.
Are there gender-specific bunk rooms?
Nope! All Society Hotel bunk rooms are co-ed, and all humans are welcome. If you’re hoping for more privacy, we recommend checking out one of our standard rooms or cabins!
